Gideon Tarry is a dynamic and versatile hybrid drummer based in London, known for seamlessly blending acoustic and electronic elements to enhance live performances. Well-versed in Ableton Live, Gideon incorporates electronic elements such as the Roland SPD-SX and Playback to bring artists' visions to life with precision and creativity.

With a passion for rhythm that began at the age of 4, Gideon studied under the same drum tutor until leaving for university at 18. Growing up playing in church provided a strong foundation in live performance, fostering a deep connection to groove and musicality.

In 2022, Gideon began studies at the Academy of Contemporary Music, London, where he has been mentored by renowned tutors, including Brian Henry (The Jacksons, Soul2Soul, Chaka Khan), Toby Drummond (Sir Cliff Richard, Sir Ray Davies, Russell Watson, Shaun Ryder, The Seahorses, Oti Mabuse), and Ben Scott (Ed Sheeran, Tom Walker, KoKo, St. Lundi). These experiences have helped shape his distinctive style and approach to drumming.

Gideon also has a wealth of experience in the studio, recording at Metropolis Studios and his home studio for various artists and live sessions.
